My first check-up with Dr Lee the obgyn today was both pleasant and not so pleasant. To start with the good news, the shape of the womb looks fine which means the embryo is at the right place. The not-so-good news is, my congenital heart disorder needs further assessment. As the pregnancy progresses, my heart will have to work harder to pump more blood. And of course, work the hardest during labour. Dr Lee needs to be sure the condition of my heart will be able to take all that.
I am trying to be optimistic here.
